Job Description

  • Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee the smooth flow of medical products, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and equipment, across international distribution sites. Ensure timely replenishment and accurate inventory control at all locations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to international healthcare regulations, including Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and customs compliance specific to the medical sector.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels at global distribution sites, forecast demand, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure critical medical supplies are always available.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management: Cultivate strong relationships with international suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of medical products.
  • Logistics Optimisation: Analyse and improve logistics routes, making recommendations to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs while ensuring product integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential disruptions in the medical supply chain (e.g., geopolitical risks, regulatory changes, or supply shortages) and work with the team to implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Procurement, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Sales teams to ensure seamless operations and alignment with business goals.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and cost per shipment, and provide regular reports on distribution performance.



The Successful Applicant

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in healthcare logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or distribution within the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of medical product distribution, including compliance with GDP, GMP, and other relevant healthcare regulations.
    • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management tools.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and international partners effectively.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
