Job Description

International Business Development Director will be:

  • Designing and executing global business development strategies to meet ambitious growth targets - with a strong focus on MENA and Europe.
  • Leading on-the-ground market entry - through partnerships, joint ventures, or by establishing direct operations and supply chain solutions.
  • Building and maximising vendor and partner relationships across international territories to drive growth and profitability.
  • Taking full ownership of accurate forecasting and delivery of new business revenue.
  • Negotiating high-value international contracts, ensuring commercially sound and mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Building strong internal and external networks with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Translating global commercial strategy into clear, actionable market-entry plans.
  • Providing competitive intelligence and market insight to influence business direction and capitalise on new opportunities

The Successful Applicant

International Business Development Director will have:

  • A proven track record of successfully launching and growing international markets, particularly through JV/partner models.
  • A track record in B2B international sales, with deep knowledge and demonstrable examples of success.
  • A sharp commercial mind - analytical, persuasive, and able to craft and close compelling propositions.
  • An entrepreneurial approach - able to work autonomously in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to influence and embed a high-performance culture.
  • A strategic thinker who's also hands-on and execution-focused.
  • Supply chain and market entry expertise, ideally including experience of establishing local fulfilment or operations.
  • Culturally intelligent and adaptable, comfortable working across different markets and time zones.
  • Strong understanding of the PPE or industrial goods sector is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree essential, MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Fluency in one or more relevant languages for MENA/Europe is a definite advantage.
