Job Description

The Interim Risk & Compliance Assistant will:

  • Support compliance activities and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal department as required.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Assist in preparing reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor updates in regulatory frameworks relevant to the public sector



The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Risk & Compliance Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience in risk or compliance roles.
  • A exposure to regulatory and risk management processes.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret legal and regulatory information.
  • Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate documentation.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams.
  • A proactive attitude and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK and be able to start in the next few weeks.

The contract will be an initial term of 4 months.

  • An hourly rate of approximately £17 to £19 a hour, depending on experience.
  • 35 hour week.
