Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies within the ESG framework.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and handle contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Drive improvements in sustainability and social responsibility through procurement practices.
  • Manage and mentor a small procurement team.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance and ESG metrics.
  • Stay informed about trends and developments in the Not For Profit sector and procurement practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Lead - ESG should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in Procurement, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a procurement role, preferably within the Not For Profit sector.
  • Knowledge of ESG principles and their application in procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships.
  • Experience leading a team and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
