Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsTechncial accounting, IFRS, consolidations, AuditHybrid working, HFM, reporting, process improvementAbout Our ClientLarge listed business with HQ in the East MidlandsJob DescriptionManage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and explanations during the audit process.Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other ad hoc reports.Review and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial regulations.Provide technical accounting support and guidance on complex issues such as acquisitions, disposals, or changes in accounting standards.Implement and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.Support the finance team with various projects, including system upgrades or integrations, as needed.Prepare and present financial analysis and reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Review intercompany transactions, ensuring correct consolidation and reconciliation processes are in place.Help streamline reporting and accounting procedures, providing suggestions for continuous improvement.The Successful ApplicantQualified Accountant with strong technical skills and experience gained with Listed business.
