Job Description

The Interim Governance Officer will form part of the Governance and Co-Sec function within this leading housing association. They will:

  • Implement and maintain governance frameworks and policies.
  • Provide expert advice to internal teams on governance matters.
  • Provide end to end meeting support to 2 board/committees.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans.
  • Manage risk through effective compliance procedures.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure legal compliance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on governance activities.
  • Facilitate training sessions on governance and compliance.
  • Participate in audits and assessments to ensure best practice.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Governance Officer should have:

  • A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in governance or a similar role within the property industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of governance principles and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
