Job Description

The Interim Governance Manager will be part of a small corporate governance team in the HQ in London. They will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring corporate governance and charity governance regulations are met
  • Coordinating governance activities and processes
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of governance frameworks
  • Assisting with the meeting cycle including board support, minuting, preparing meeting packs and action points.
  • Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment
  • Preparing corporate governance reports for senior management

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Governance Manager should have:

  • A strong experience of corporate governance within charity and compliance regulations
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a charity is essential as the team is very small
  • Ideally working towards CGI qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
