Job Description

As the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial direction of the company. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Leading the financial planning and analysis function, providing insights and guidance to senior management.

- Developing and maintaining financial models to forecast business performance and profitability.

- Managing the annual budgeting process, as well as quarterly and monthly forecasts.

- Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and presenting findings to key stakeholders.

- Collaborating cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies.

- Preparing and reviewing financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for the executive team.

- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, while identifying areas for improvement.

- Mentoring and developing junior finance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

- Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within the construction, retail, or a related sector.

- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modelling and forecasting.

- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- A proactive approach and a strong business acumen, with the ability to influence decision-making at various levels within the organization.

- Availability to start in the third week of January 2025.
