We are seeking an Interim Asset & Compliance Manager for a temporary role within the Property department of a not-for-profit organisation. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the company's assets, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.
  • Competitive day rate and minimum 6-month contract.
  • Flexible working with a 3 days office, 2 days from home split.

Job Description

  • Leading the asset management strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
  • Managing external contractors and ensuring quality of work.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of all assets and compliance checks.
  • Reporting on asset performance and compliance to the senior management team.
  • Identifying and managing risks related to assets and compliance.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on building safety and the current regulations.
  • Monitoring and controlling expenditure against budget.
  • Contributing to the company's sustainability and resident welfare goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Asset & Compliance Manager should have:

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification.
  • Experience in asset management and compliance within the housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs.
  • Experience in managing external contractors.
