Job Description

  • Manage and implement health and safety standards across the manufacturing facility.
  • Provide guidance on all H&S matters, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes for staff on health and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on health and safety performance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance safety protocols.
  • Oversee incident investigations, ensuring proper follow-up actions are taken.

The Successful Applicant

A successful H&S Manager should have:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • Certification in risk assessment would be advantageous.
  • A proactive approach towards improving health and safety protocols.
