Job Description

The Housing Litigation Solicitor will be:

  • Advising social housing landlords, local authorities, and health care clients.
  • Managing a caseload of housing litigation claims including disrepair and possession matters.
  • Collaborating with a national team to provide strategic advice and representation.
  • Building strong client relationships and providing expert legal counsel.
  • Contributing to the development of the Housing team's knowledge and expertise.
  • Attending Court when required

The Successful Applicant

The Housing Litigation Solicitor should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with 0-3 years PQE in housing / litigation work
  • Experienced in managing disrepair, injunctions, and possession claims.
  • Familiar with advising social landlords or local authorities.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills.
  • Ties to Leeds
