Job Description

  • Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and financial analysis.
  • Prepare financial models and valuation reports to assess potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless integration post-acquisition.
  • Provide strategic advice on financial implications of potential transactions.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new M&A opportunities within the professional services industry.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements during transactions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Assist in negotiations and coordinate with external advisors when necessary.

The Successful Applicant

A successful In-House M&A professional should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally with exposure to mergers and acquisitions or Transaction services
  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Sound knowledge of the professional services industry.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
