Job Description

The In-House Commercial Solicitor will be:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including IT agreements and NDAs.
  • Advising on data protection legislation and ensuring compliance across the organisation.
  • Providing strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Managing consumer law compliance, including litigation and small claims.
  • Supporting the Group Procurement team on RFPs, contract terms, and management.

The Successful Applicant

The In-House Commercial Solicitor should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with 2-4 commercial PQE.
  • Experienced in IT contracts (e.g., SaaS, AI) and data protection compliance.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Commercially aware, with strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Previous in-house experience or financial services exposure is desirable.
