Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsSenior Health and Safety role in Smart Metering IndustryRemote working with occasional travel to office in Manchester or site.About Our ClientSmart Choice Metering, one of the UK's leading smart meter installers, working in partnership with numerous household name energy suppliers are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager reporting to the Quality Assurance and Senior Compliance Manager.This role encompasses Health and Safety responsibilities whilst supporting our industry leading training academy and training staff.Job DescriptionGain and maintain accreditation with industry awarding bodies to support the group disciplinesProactive development of Health & Safety management systems across the company, in line with objectives and policyEnsure ongoing reviews of Health & Safety policies and objectives and programmes to implement changes are undertakenEnsure a coherent and accurate system for the provision of, monitoring and control of risk assessments in place and communicated appropriately.Identify opportunities for improvement.Maintain an effective mechanism that ensures that lessons are learned, and best practice is repeated.Identify and manage the internal H&S training programmeProduce & communicate safety bulletins/alerts.
