Job Description

  • Develop and implement the procurement and category strategy.
  • Manage supplier relationships and contracts effectively.
  • Monitor procurement processes and systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor the Procurement & Supply Chain team.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align procurement strategy with company goals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cost reduction initiatives.
  • Oversee risk management within the procurement process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and apply best procurement practices.

The Successful Applicant

Head of Procurement

  • A degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • MCIPS - ideally
  • 10+yrs experience in a managerial procurement role within the financial services industry.
  • 15yrs in procurement with TPRM and supplychain governance experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • High level stakeholder management [internally and externally]
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
  • Sound understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.
