Job Description

  • Strategically manage all procurement activities and supplier relationships.

  • Collaborate closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs.
  • Maintain a steady supply of necessary resources while ensuring quality standards.
  • Navigate and mitigate potential supply chain risks.
  • Lead, manage and develop the procurement team.
  • Report on procurement performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on market trends and advancements in the procurement field.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Procurement should have:

  • Experience within a greenfield environment
  • Proven experience in a managerial procurement role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong understanding of strategic sourcing and procurement processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
