Job Description

  • Leading the development and implementation of fire and building safety strategies.
  • Ensuring all properties are compliant with the latest fire and building safety regulations.
  • Managing a team of safety specialists to deliver top-quality service.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits across properties.
  • Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Implementing training programmes to boost staff knowledge and competence in safety matters.
  • Providing expert advice on fire and building safety matters to the board.
  • Overseeing the management of fire and building safety incidents, ensuring swift resolution.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head of Fire and Building Safety' should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Fire Safety or Facilities Management.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the property industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire and building safety regulations.
  • Experience in managing a diverse property portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
