Job Description

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders using financial analysis.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and modelling outputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial models with broader business objectives.
  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes for the business.
  • Monitor and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies where required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial modelling tools and techniques.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc analysis and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Financial Modelling should have:

  • A strong background in financial modelling within the insurance sector.
  • Professional qualifications in accounting or finance, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling software and tools.
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
  • A focus on accuracy and attention to detail in all outputs.
