Job Description

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Technology Department
  • Ensure alignment between technology capabilities and organisational objectives
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of technology systems
  • Manage technology budgets and timelines
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in the public sector
  • Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing technology team
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Digital & Technology should have:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a technology department
  • Strong knowledge of digital technology and systems
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • An understanding of the public sector / not-for-profit / charity sectors
