Job Description

The Head of Datacentres and Cloud will:

  • Develop and implement strategies for datacentres and cloud services.
  • Manage the delivery of these services in alignment with the organisation's objectives.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the technology infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in the industry.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for the department.
  • Work closely with other department heads to align technology strategies with the organisation's goals.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the industry and leverage them to the organisation's benefit.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Head of Datacentres and Cloud will have:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Public Sector.
  • A strong understanding and practical experience in managing data centers and cloud services.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
