The team sits within Transformation and Change Management Group, to enable greater benefits realisation through a structured and consistent approach to change management, increasing employee adoption and usage.We operate across multiple EMEA countries, these may have differing standards and so require innovative implementation solutions which adds to the complexity of the project. You'll expect to interface with C-level project sponsors and SteerCo/s compromised of multiple stakeholders, as well as meet and brief C-level sponsors on a regular basis and educate on the complexities of the change, any regulation and help influence decision making.ResponsibilitiesEmbedding this expertise within the Transformation and Change Management team, building on best practice and market trends in change activation.Line management of the change implementation team, covering culture, motivation, training and development, retention, compliance and the well-being to maintain high performance levels.Develop and execute change activation strategies aligned with organizational goals, defining the banks framework to be applied across the portfolio.Partner with senior leaders, project managers, and stakeholders to embed change readiness activities into key programs.Responsible for supporting and supervising the structure, resourcing and delivery of change management with project delivery.Design and build a dedicated change activation team.Recruit, onboard, and mentor change agents to support strategic initiatives.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on impact and innovation.Coach stakeholders and sponsors on their role in leading and embedding change.Act as a trusted advisor to business units, ensuring alignment and readiness for change.Drive consistency and rigour in change management through developing, deploying embedding the change management framework and associated tools/templates with project teamsIdentify potential risks and anticipated change resistance to change and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concernsDefine measures of success and capture metrics to monitor change effectivenessUse data and insights to refine approaches and ensure sustainable outcomes.Promote a culture of learning and adaptability within the change team and broader organization.The Successful ApplicantHead of Change Management ExperienceProven experience and expertise of Change Management, preferably in the financial services sector.Experience in developing and embedding change activation frameworks in a large organisationFamiliarity with change frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Prosci) and agile methodologies.Experience orchestrating change impact assessments, business readiness activities, benefit realisation, stakeholder engagement, training and communication plansStrong track record of building and leading teams in dynamic environments.Extensive stakeholder management experience and proven ability to work collaboratively to influence, gain agreement and resolve conflict in ambiguous environments across diverse groups.Strong communication skills - must be able to communicate with and influence a broad range of senior stakeholders and groups and to be able to build networks across the region and with global officesWhat's on OfferUp to £150K basic plus strong benefits.ContactDavid StansfieldQuote job refJN-092025-6827902Phone number+44 207 776 5949Job summaryJob functionBanking & Financial ServicesSubsectorBusiness Analysis / Change / PMOSectorFinancial ServicesLocationLondonContract typePermanentConsultant nameDavid StansfieldConsultant phone+44 207 776 5949Job referenceJN-092025-6827902
