With their head office based in Glasgow, they have a significant presence across the UK.Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:Oversee the monthly consolidation process for 17 statutory entities and compile month-end reporting packs.Support year-end audits and prepare statutory accounts.Analyse Group overhead expenditure, monitor budgets, and report to the Executive team.Manage cash flow forecasting, intercompany transactions, and VAT submissions.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and process supplier payments.Participate in ad-hoc projects to support business development and improvement.The Successful ApplicantA successful Group Financial Accountant should have:Professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proficiency in accounting softwareStrong knowledge of accounting principles and standardsExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlinesWhat's on OfferThis role offers a competitive salary £50,000-£55,000 plus exceptional wider benefits.The company fosters a positive work environment and offers substantial opportunities for career growth.
