About Our Client

The business is a profitable privately owned SME Group with a Turnover of circa £15m, growing organically and by acquisition.

Job Description

-Monthly financial reporting and performance management.

- Monthly and yearly budgeting, forecasting, and planning.

- Manage capital expenditure and working capital effectively, overseeing banking relationships.

- Provide commercial support and financial expertise to the Board.

- Support M&A buy-side activities and on-boarding of new companies.

- Enhance support function's efficiency and IT strategy.

The Successful Applicant

- Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a hands on approach, comfortable operating in a SME.

- Extensive financial management experience in a relevant business, ideally a multi-site service operation.

- Strong technical skills- UK GAAP, IFRS accounting standards.

- Effective interpersonal skills and stake-holder management abilities.

- Expertise in Corporate Finance, M&A, On-boarding & Exit planning

- Proficient in managing banking relationships and exploring funding solutions.
