Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement policies and procedures
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts
  • Oversee the procurement & supply chain department
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement needs are met
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and mentor procurement team members

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and the desire to want to develop a department
  • Hands on role
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in relevant procurement software
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
