Job Description

  • Identify suitable grant opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit grant applications.
  • Build relationships with grant providers and stakeholders - GLA & Home England.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to align grant opportunities with project needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in the funding landscape.
  • Monitor and track grant applications and their outcomes.
  • Report on grant activity and success rates to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Grant Specialist should have:

  • An educational background in Finance, Business, or a grant related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the GLA or Home England.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and its funding landscape.
  • Proficiency in grant writing and management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
