Job Description

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise supply chain operations.
Lead and manage the purchasing and planning teams to achieve key business objectives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Analyse market trends and risks to make informed purchasing decisions.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure consistent supply to meet production demands.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and planning processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain goals with overall business strategy.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Head of Purchasing & Planning should have:

Proven experience in procurement and supply chain within the FMCG industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively.
Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Expertise in supplier negotiation and relationship management.
A solid understanding of inventory management and demand planning principles.
