Job Description

As a Global Category Manager you will,

  • Lead the development and execution of the global procurement strategy for aftermarket parts
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal terms.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
  • Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Category Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing sector, ideally aerospace
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A deep understanding of global procurement processes and strategy.
  • Track record of leading high performing teams
  • The ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of supply chain risk management.
