German M&A Advisory Director

Our market leading Corporate & Investment Banking client seeks a fluent German M&A Director to lead the origination and execution of M&A transactions, with a particular focus on industrial and industrial technology sectors, manufacturing, materials and transport across the DACH and Northern European regions. London

A successful German M&A Director should have:

• Experience originating in Continental Europe, particularly the DACH and potentially Northern European regions and sectors such as industrials, capital goods, industrial technology, manufacturing, materials, transport, logistics
• Rich hands-on experience in origination and execution of M&A transactions, in depth understanding of M&A business and strong M&A technical skills and extensive experience of high quality advice to clients.
• Proven experience in leading successful M&A processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and corporate governance.
