Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth across all e-commerce channels.
  • Operational Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Scaling the business: Support in scaling out the UK team, identifying key gaps and business needs.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Customer Experience: Enhance the customer journey by implementing best practices in customer service and user experience.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align strategies and achieve company goals.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budget planning and management to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful General Manager should have:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior management role, ideally in a fast-paced B2C, e-commerce environment.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and tools.
