Job Description

  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of fund-related legal documents and agreements.
  • Support the legal team in managing compliance and regulatory requirements for fund transactions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide summarised findings for internal use.
  • Maintain and update legal files, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and other stakeholders on fund-related matters.
  • Prepare and organise materials for client meetings and internal presentations.
  • Monitor changes in legislation that impact the funds sector and advise the team accordingly.
  • Provide administrative and organisational support to the legal department as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Funds Paralegal should have:

  • A degree in law or a related discipline, with a solid understanding of legal principles.
  • Previous experience working within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent organisational skills.
