Likely 3 or 4 direct reports into you, need a doer as much as a manager/higher level thinker. Components of role to include -Full P&L, forecast, budget, et alBalance Sheet, Cashflow - so 3-prongued approach to analysisSome high level interaction/knowledge of regulatory capital calculations (their reg team actually do it but this is just to take that and embed into strategy)Consolidation from a Group perspective - so having a breadth view (e.g. economic impact, rwa/reg impact, RoR/RoI, any other risks…) as well as depth view product line by product line.Day-to-Day:Lead the financial planning and analysis process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting.Provide detailed financial insights to support strategic business decisions.Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and track performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.Identify and recommend opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue growth.Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performing culture.The Successful ApplicantFPnA Senior Manager - team leadBanking & Financial Services - Challenger Business BankCity of London (3 days a week in office, hybrid)A successful Senior FP&A Manager who is the Team Lead should have:Strong expertise in a retail bank, business / SME bank, corporate lender, fintech or challenger/digital bank.A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
