Our client is a well-established business, with a large workforce. This role sits within a smaller finance function, reporting directly to the Finance Director, and is a newly created position to support the wider business. Job Description

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic direction.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
  • Provide insightful, data-driven analyses to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with other departmental managers to compile and review financial information.
  • Develop and implement financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Present financial reports to management, stakeholders, and board members.
  • Lead the production of timely performance reporting and KPI monitoring
  • Regular meetings with commercial teams and senior leadership to challenge and drive decision making
  • Supervise and mentor direct reports, whilst allocating work appropriately
  • Business Partner the Commercial, Operational and Technical teams to help them make informed decisions, challenging assumptions and decisions where necessary
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company through effective financial management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful FP&A Manager should have:

  • Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar Analyst or FP&A role
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and databases.
  • Expert knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
