Job Description

  • Leading the FP&A team to drive financial planning and analysis processes.
  • Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
  • Developing financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Monitoring key industry trends, competitive environment, and market changes.
  • Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process for the entire company.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful FP&A Manager should have:

  • A professional accountancy qualification, ICAS, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling techniques and tools.
  • An understanding of the life science industry.
