We are seeking a diligent and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee and coordinate our fleet operations based in Birmingham, in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will excel in ensuring the efficient and consistent running of all aspects of our fleet management.

  • Managing HGV and internal domestic fleet operations

Job Description

  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and safety
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies
  • Manage and lead a team of fleet coordinators
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
  • Comply with regulations and laws in retail and transportation
  • Monitor and manage fleet expenses
  • Handle any fleet-related incidents or emergencies

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fleet Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in fleet management or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of fleet systems and procedures
  • CPC qualified with the ability to be on a businesses Operator Licence
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
