Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager: Financial Reporting, the Financial Controller will:

  • Lead monthly and quarterly UK group consolidation and balance sheet reporting
  • Manage internal and external audits, including liaison with external auditors
  • Ensure SOX compliance and adherence to US GAAP and UK GAAP
  • Oversee statutory accounts preparation and technical accounting matters
  • Support M&A activity and ensure correct accounting treatment for acquisitions
  • Manage and develop a team of three Financial Accountants
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and support senior finance leadership



The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant to this Financial Controller position will be a qualified accountant (likely ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS)
  • Experience in a multinational environment and external audit processes
  • Excellent Excel skills; JDE experience is a plus
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills
  • Experience managing or mentoring finance staff
