Job Description

  • Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions.
  • Supervise and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance.
  • Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Review and optimise financial systems and processes for efficiency.
  • Support cash flow management and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in accounting and finance within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring finance teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
