Job Description

  • Lead financial reporting and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across all accounts.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Develop and manage financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to provide actionable insights into financial trends and forecasting.
  • Monitor cash flow, cost structures, and profitability metrics, identifying opportunities for financial optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and industry-specific financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee and improve financial controls, processes, and system efficiencies.

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA or ACCA qualification is essential
  • Extensive experience in financial management, reconciliations, and technical accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced), SQL, SAP, or other financial systems.
  • Experience in the broadcast media sector is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage and mentor finance teams, driving efficiency and performance.
