An interesting and dynamic business with excellent career opportunities and flexible working ( 2 days office, 3 days home)Job Description The Financial Controller is responsible for:Maintaining the integrity of financial accounts for overseas entities, ensuring reconciliations between local statutory accounts and management accounts are accurate.Lead projects involving the establishment, restructuring, or closure of international entities, ensuring compliance with advice from Group Tax, Legal, HR, and Treasury, and keeping all relevant stakeholders informed.Manage relationships with third-party accounting and payroll providers, on-boarding new suppliers, setting service expectations, and ensuring adherence to agreed control processes.Identify opportunities to streamline and standardise processes, such as implementing a uniform T&E system across all entities.Develop and maintain the overseas entity Manual, outlining processes and procedures to be implemented consistently across all overseas territories.Authorise funding for overseas entities, balancing the need for liquidity with safeguarding Group funds from risks such as FX losses or fraudulent activity.Provide relevant data and updates to Division Finance Directors, Business Partners, and the Financial Planning and Analysis team to ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory frameworks.Chair geographical meetings with Tax, Legal, HR, FP&A, and Business Partners to address overseas entity - related matters.Respond to audit queries and ensure timely resolution of audit points related to overseas entities.The Successful ApplicantA successful International Financial Controller should have:Essential:Professionally qualified accountant with a comprehensive understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements.Strong analytically and investigative skills, with the ability to work independently.Effective and persuasive communicator, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels.Experience in a global finance role.Knowledge of key business processes and best practices.What's on OfferPaid on a daily rate basis3 month contract initially with potential to extendA unique opportunity to work in the heart of Oxford 2 days per week.ContactJason TaylorQuote job refJN-012025-6626935Phone number01865 208 471Job summaryJob functionAccountingSubsectorFinancial ControllerSectorNot For ProfitLocationOxfordContract typeTemporaryConsultant nameJason TaylorConsultant phone01865 208 471Job referenceJN-012025-6626935
