The finance division plays a pivotal role in supporting their global operations, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Job DescriptionManage and ensure the accurate recording of payables, receivables, and general ledger entries for both national and international operations.Lead the month-end financial procedures and journal authorisation according to set timelines.Oversee the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and manage financial reporting for the group and subsidiaries.Lead the development of financial analysis, providing insights that support the organisation's strategic objectives.Manage financial controls, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external reporting regulations, including compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.Support and liaise with auditors during year-end and interim audits, ensuring timely resolution of queries.Provide financial advice to departments and stakeholders, ensuring cross-charging and reconciliation of costs are completed accurately and efficiently.Drive process improvements in reporting standards, treasury management, and overall financial operations across the organisation.Ensure financial statements are compliant with regulatory standards, including SORP and FRS 102, and provide ad-hoc reports to management as needed.Support staff and volunteers with financial training and guidance where necessary.The Successful ApplicantThe Successful Applicant Should Have: ACA, ACCA, or another relevant accounting qualification.
