Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee technical accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Lead month-end activities, manage statutory accounts, and coordinate audit processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers, auditors, and tax advisors to maintain regulatory compliance and strong governance.
  • Support cash flow forecasting, debt reporting, and proposals for funding.
  • Play a key role in financial process optimisation and onboarding new companies.
  • Maintain and improve internal financial controls and reporting systems.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Assist in tax preparation and ensure timely submissions.
  • Provide support to other accounting and finance tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including experience with financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
