Job Description

Finance Officer Duties:

  • Maintain accurate purchase ledger records in line with college financial policies.
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely and correct data entry.
  • Manage outgoing payments, ensuring suppliers are paid promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice or payment queries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial procedures and audit requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes as needed.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the finance team and college operations.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Officer should have:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • Experience using financial software
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Sharp time management skills
