About Our Client

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a subsidiary of a large European headquartered business, on initially 6-month fixed term contract.

This is a critical role within a complex, multi-entity business, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial leadership of this growing sector

Job Description

The role is varied and includes:

Management Accounting & Operations

  • Lead daily accounting operations.
  • Ensure up-to-date Management Accounts with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage cash flow, debt collection, and supplier payments.
  • Oversee invoicing, asset register accuracy, and internal controls.



Reporting & Analysis

  • Drive month-end close and group reporting to strict deadlines.
  • Present financial results and insights to UK and Group Finance.
  • Partner with functional managers to provide financial guidance.



Compliance & Audit

  • Deliver statutory accounts in line with IFRS and the Companies Act.
  • Manage the external audit process and support Corporation Tax returns.



Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead and challenge the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Liaise with Group Finance to align forecasts and upload data to consolidation tools.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
  • Significant experience in accounting and finance within a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
