Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, offering insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Supervise and support the finance team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and processes.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
  • Assist with system implementation to D365

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Over two years of experience in industry, ideally within a group business
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
