Job Description

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  • Supervise and guide a small team of accounting professionals.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and reviews.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure effective cost control measures are in place.
  • Develop and implement improvements to financial systems and processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). - Ideally newly qualified
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
