With a global reach and a commitment to innovation, they are a leader in providing superior products and services to their customers.Job DescriptionProvide Group Accounting specialist support in relation to Asset accounting, Corporate functions, leases, and other functions focusing on all aspects of technical accounting and financial reporting processes within a complex and expanding global business environment. Role will develop strong network including contact with the Finance Leadership Team, Operational team, group legal entities and operations and group auditors and will help enhance the quality and effectiveness of reporting events.Developing and leveraging understanding of relevant parts of the business to identify key areas of reporting risks and judgements.Proactively collaborating with finance and operational teams to provide reporting insight on new strategic areas, business change or areas of complexity to drive quality and "value add" reporting.Reviewing methodologies and calculations connected with the most significant accounting areas, often including management estimates and judgements.Facilitating engagement and accountability in functional reporting by providing timely management reporting data to help support business performance.Effectively managing issues with key stakeholders through identification, investigation and resolution of technical accounting matters.Driving performance targets and KPIs, monitoring process performance.The Successful ApplicantA successful Manager should have:Experience in multinational, multi-function organisations.ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent "Big 4/10" accountancy firm experience in assurance.Previous leadership of teams/individuals.Strong accounting technical expertise, including IFRS.Public Limited Company reporting experience desiredKnowledge of working in a control matrix environment.Ability to present information clearly to different levels of management /non-finance stakeholders.Ability to partner with individuals in the business and influence.Experience developing and leading teams in continuous improvement and performance excellence in a dynamic environment.Ability to provide team with a clear sense of direction.Superior communication skills to influence, motivate, and manage diverse groups of stakeholders.
