Working for a not for profit organisation with a presence across the north west, you will be responsible for managing the financial accounting process, working closely with the Finance Director to implement new tight controls and deliver the financial information. You will play a key part in the role of the growth of the company and responsible for the development and management of a small finance team.

Job Description

Duties and tasks of the Finance Manager:

  • Analysis of financial data and financial modelling with company profitability and assets
  • Preparation of management accounts, including implementing internal control policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor financial performance and identify risks.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
  • Manage, coach and support a small finance team
  • Budgets, forecasting and cashflow management
  • Running budget holder meetings and presenting to stakeholders
  • Advise on cost-saving opportunities and resource allocation.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and audits.
  • Project work



The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • QBE, Part Qualified or Finalist ACCA/ CIMA
  • Exposure to financial modelling and business partnering
  • Knowledge of financial regulations within the Not For Profit sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial figures to stakeholders and non-financial members
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
