Ormskirk Permanent £40,000 - £50,000 per year View Job Description
This role will support engineering and other technology finance areas. The main purpose of this role is to be the key finance contact for the engineering team and support the provision of timely and accurate management accounting and financial support, month end, reporting and preparation of forecast and annual budget for engineering departmental over heads, as well as ensuring project balances are billed to both internal and external customers.

Job Description

  • Managing monthly billing for external and internal customers
  • Create monthly reports to present to senior stake holder level
  • Annual forecast and budget
  • Financial support
  • Month end and year end duties
  • Labour and cost analysis

The Successful Applicant

  • Part qualified or nearing the end of studies
  • Good technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • The ability to operate in a matrix organisation with multiple customers
  • Work towards tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in SAP is desirable not essential
