Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the institution's financial operations and budget.
  • Develop financial plans and forecasts in line with the institution's goals.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the institution's board.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial practices.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team members.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and financial strategies.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in finance or accounting. (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Proven expertise in financial management and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • An interest in contributing to the not-for-profit sector.
