Job Description

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure effective working capital management.
  • Lead and mentor junior finance team members, fostering professional development.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Continuously review and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Support strategic projects, including system implementation and financial modelling.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong foundation in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive mindset.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Part-qualified or finalist-level in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in a finance role, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.



Desirable:

  • Experience working in a small to medium-sized business environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to financial services.
