They provide a safe space for growth, development, and independence, creating lasting change in people's lives.Job DescriptionOversee day-to-day financial operations, including purchase/sales ledgers, payroll, and reconciliations.Lead month-end processes, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting.Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior stakeholders.Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and audits (Charity Commission, VAT, PAYE/NIC).Maintain and manage the fixed asset register and nominal ledger.Coach, mentor, and line manage a team of five finance assistants, ensuring performance and development.Develop and implement financial process improvements.Support strategic financial planning and decision-making.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Finance Manager should have:3+ years of experience in a finance role with team management responsibilities.ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or finalist, or 5+ years QBE.Strong understanding of transactional finance processes, payroll, and month-end tasks.Proven experience in coaching and developing team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.What's on Offer£45,000 - £50,000 salary (pro-rata if applicable).Hybrid working (1 day per week from home).33 days annual leave (including bank holidays).Pension scheme with auto-enrolment into People's Pension.An opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.Apply now to play a key role in shaping this organisation's financial future while contributing to a meaningful cause.
